Giving is privilege that God allows us to participate in.  Throughout the Bible we find examples of the people of God giving to support the Kingdom of God.  Luke 6:38 tells is the blessings of giving while

2 Corinthians 9:7 lets us know God loves when we give cheerfully.  As we study giving from a biblical perspective we see that we should be good stewards of what God has given us, and by giving we do that.
